Rescue Conference

The Rescue project held its main conference at the Meervaart in Amsterdam on Friday 18 March 2005, attended by over 100 delegates from all parts of the world. The keynote speaker was Professor Meg Morris, from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia – an international expert on gait and balance in people with Parkinson’s disease. Members of the Rescue team presented the results of their 3 year programme of work on cueing in Parkinson’s disease. In addition researchers and clinicians from Europe and the Middle East had the opportunity to share their work in the field of rehabilitation in Parkinson’s disease via oral and poster presentations.

You are able to download the abstracts of the Rescue speakers from the conference programme page.
